Cajun Shrimp Tacos Recipe

Ingredients You’ll Need

1 pound of medium shrimp, peeled and deveined


2 teaspoons paprika
1-teaspoon ground cumin
1-teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4-teaspoon cayenne
1/4-teaspoon salt
Cooking Spray
16 (6-inch) tortillas
8 tablespoons cheddar cheese
1 ripe avocado, peeled and roughly mashed

Cooking Directions:

1) Combine seasonings in a large zip-top plastic bag. Add shrimp to bag; seal and shake well to coat. Remove shrimp.

2) Heat a large frying pan over high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add shrimp; cook 2 minutes per side until done.

3) Heat a flat grill or large frying pan. Heat 4 tortillas for approximately 1 minute. Flip and add cheese, top each cheese topped tortilla with another tortilla. Flip and cook until cheese is melted. Repeat.

4) Add mashed avocado to tortillas, top with shrimp and pico de gallo or salsa.
